Here for sale we have a Fender Standard Telecaster in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 1998, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel​/​Chrome hardware, with Graphtech String Saver saddles on the original bridge plate and a set of Fender sealed tuning machines. The pickups featured consists of a Seymor Duncan SH-55n Seth Lover neck humbucker Pickup and a Seymour Duncan Hotrail in the bridge position, these are wired to a standard telecaster wiring with a 3-way pickup selector, master volume and tone controls. The Maple neck plays well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile feeling comfortable in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius strikes a nice balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending, whilst the dark grain offers an appealing aesthetic. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body feel as great in the arms as ever, and provide a comfortable playing experience in both standing or seated positions. The Seymor Duncan SH-55n Seth Lover in the neck position produces an open and detailed sound with plenty of warmth and power for pushing your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The Seymour Duncan Hot Rails humbucker in the bridge is hot, with loads of midrange harmonics and a crunchy tone that is well suited to bluesy rock riffing. Clearly the jazzy tones are easily achievable too, with a nice dark jazzy tone in the neck with the tone rolled down. A highly versatile guitar with a nice twist on the traditional Telecaster. Luthier Report Our ID: 121042594440 Weight: 9lbs Serial Number: N8351203 Aesthetic Condition: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates consistent light indentation and some paint transfer that we have been unable to remove through regular cleaning. The rear of the headstock towards the neck demonstrates two notable chips to the finish revealing the wood beneath. A small indentation can be identified to the front bass side edge between the E & A tuning machines. A clear sticker with "FT1" has been applied to the rear of the headstock. This can be easily removed at the new owners request. ` Overall very good condition, the fingerboard demonstrates some very light indentation in the early frets consistent with regular playwear. The rear of the neck demonstrates a small patch of finish delamination at the top end of the "skunk stripe". This will not worsen through regular use. A light indentation is apparent behind the 13th fret which cannot be felt under the thumb in playing position. Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light to moderate scratching across the entire face, most concentrated to the lower bout. These scratches are only visible under direct lighting at certain angles. The edges and sides of the body demonstrate slightly more notable scratching to the bass side waist, and the rear bass side lower bout edge demonstrates a notable chip revealing the wood beneath. Further scratching and scuffing is apparent to the bass side of the instrument. The rear face demonstrates light to moderate buckle rash, discoloring but not piercing the finish. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playabillity. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1​/​8" hex) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with very light signs of wear. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
