Made in Mexico in 2023, this guitar takes inspiration from a ‘60’s Fender P-Bass- widely regarded as the golden era of the P Bass. A bolt-on construction is employed comprising an Alder Body, Maple neck and 20 fret Slab Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with a 4-Saddle Vintage-Style with Threaded Steel Saddles bridge and Vintage-Style Open-Back tuning machines. A Vintage-Style '60s Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup is installed, and is wired to master volume and tone controls. The Maple neck plays well, with the Early ‘60s “C” shape, providing a lively and articulate playing experience in all registers. The profile is certainly easy to get along with, offering ergonomic thumb positioning and comfortable reach across the neck. The Gloss finish to the rear provides a slick and smooth playing surface, ensuring that navigation of the 34" scale is a fast and breezy affair. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 7.25" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience across the register. The split single-coil PB pickup installed in this guitar delivers fantastic fundamental bass tone right away. Deep, rumbling lows will fill out your mix, whilst punchy mids and a sparkly top end will ensure that you have plenty of snap and attack to provide a lively and percussive performance.
