Made in Japan in 2020, this bolt-on constructed guitar features an Ash body with a flamed Maple top, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include GOTOH SD91-05M MG tuners, an FGN FJTR-S2P bridge, a Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro APS-1 pickup in the neck position, a Seymour Duncan Vintage Staggered SSL-1 rwrp pickup in the middle, and a Seymour Duncan Pegasus-TB Humbucker in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, a three-way pickup selector, and a Coil Tap Switch. The Rosewood fingerboard on the FGN J standard Odyssey has a rather flat feel to it which aids in a lot less stress with bending strings at the higher registers of the instrument. The 'U' shaped neck has a gloss finish and a thin feel. It provides the ability to move quickly around the neck, however gives the necessary grip for your thumb to find a comfortable position no matter what register you're in.
