Made in the USA in 2012, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a Baked Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include an ABR-1 bridge with stopbar tailpiece, Grover tuning machines, Nickel hardware, and a set of Alnico II-loaded 57 Classic Humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to standard Les Paul controls. The Mahogany body and Maple top matched with the Baked Maple fingerboard and Mahogany neck provide this guitar with soaring responsive resonance that true Les Pauls are renowned for, giving the guitar warm, smooth and rich tones that are an unmatched iconic part of musical culture. The Wine Red finish gives this guitar a classic and timeless look along with the ABR-1 bridge and Nickel hardware give this guitar almost infinite sustain and give a true vintage feel for the player to get the most out of this guitar effortlessly. Amplified, the pair of Gibson Alnico II-loaded 57 Classic humbucking pickups deliver thick and full-bodied tones, just as we expect from Gibson. Mild chipping of the finish is present to the tips of the rear face, these have exposed the wood beneath. Light lacquer cracking can be seen to the front face of the headstock, this is common with nitrocellulose finishes. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Light discoloration is present to the binding around the headstock. Neck: Overall very good condition. Two light indentations are present to the rear of the neck, these can be seen at the 3rd and 12th frets, these can be seen under direct light and can be slightly felt in the playing position. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck has dulled to a satin texture, this is common with regular past use on nitrocellulose finishes. Light markings can be seen across the register of the fingerboard, these can be seen under close scrutiny and can not be felt in the playing position. Discoloration of the binding can be seen to both sides of the neck with the most apparent of these being seen to the treble side of the neck, this is common with regular past use. Body: Overall very good condition. Moderate scratching, indentation and chipping of the finish can be seen to the center of the rear face, this is common with heavy past use and is consistent with 'buckle rash'. Light to mild indentations can be seen to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the front face both the lower bout and bass side waist, these have pierced the finish and expose the wood beneath. Light lacquer cracking can be seen to all aspects of the body this is common with nitrocellulose finishes. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting and flattening of the frets is apparent to the early register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5​/​16" socket) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light to mild tarnishing and oxidation is present to all aspects of the metal hardware, the most apparent of these can be seen to the pickup ring screws and scratch plate screws. Light scratching is present to the scratch plate, this is common with regular past use. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. The tolex to the exterior displays moderate ripping and marking of the tolex, with this the ripping has exposed the wood. The interior of the case displays moderate discolouration from past use.
