Here for sale we have a set of Gibson "Clear Bobbin" P90 Pickups from circa. 1968 with Cream pickup casings. With clear bobbins, it's easy to see how these P90s get their iconic sound. The bobbin in a P90 is wider, but shorter than that of a standard single coil which allows the pickup to produce a warmer tone. The pickups measure at a very balanced 7.8k ohm output per pickup, with slightly raised pole pieces for the bridge pickup.
