Here for sale we have a Gibson EB13 Electric Bass in Natural finish. Made in the USA in 2012, this set-neck constructed bass consists of an Ash body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Babicz Full Contact bridge, Grover tuners, a Corian nut, and a set of Alnico V humbucking pickups that are wired to a neck volume (push​/​pull coil-split), bridge volume (push​/​pull coil-split), and a master tone control. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the profile feeling chunky without being cumbersome, offering a dependable grip whilst also providing a smooth and articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 12” radius allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst its light Ash body also makes longer durations of playing a comfortable experience. The Gibson humbuckers deliver a thick and powerful tone, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The edges of the headstock display moderate indentations and chipping to the finish. The front face of the headstock displays mild scratching of the finish, this is common with satin finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to the rear of the neck across the register, these can be felt under the thumb in the playing position. The fingerboard displays light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light to mild indentations with some of these partially breaking through the finish. The satin finish has been polished to a gloss appearance in high contact areas. Light to mild discoloration can be seen to all aspects of the body common with regular past use. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability.
