Made in 2014 in the USA, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Figured Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Kluson Deluxe tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, a Stopbar tailpiece, and a pair of '57 Classic Zebra Coil Humbucking pickups. The pickups are wired to two independent volume controls (both push​/​pull split-coils), a master tone control, a three-way pickup selector, and a +15db boost switch. The gloss nitrocellulose ‘60s SlimTaper neck plays very well, sporting a good balance between thick and thin Gibson necks, not being overly thick without the ‘60s style flatness. Classic Les Paul contours feel familiar and easy to navigate, with the TOM bridge and stopbar tailpiece giving a rock solid feel. The 12" fingerboard radius is as comfortable and practical as ever, with the Rosewood offering a smooth and sumptuous surface under the fingers. The Classic Zebra Coil humbuckers offer a modern take on the traditional Les Paul sound, with a level of clarity and openness in the top end not often found in humbuckers. The low end remains thick and full and the midrange has every bit of punch you would expect. The push​/​pull coil taps on the volume pots give plenty of versatility, with the +15dB mini toggle boost switch offering a great sounding boost, perfect for solos. Overall a real workhorse, great for a guitarist in need of an instrument capable of whatever the gig throws at them. The top corners of the headstock demonstrate indentation and chipping, most notably to the treble side where the wood beneath has been revealed. The rear face demonstrates light scratching, particularly beside the D string machine head. Neck: Overall very good condition, the fingerboard demonstrates moderate playwear in the early register. This does not affect playability. Body: Overall very good condition the front face demonstrates consistent light scratching between the treble side and bass side waist, with further light scratching towards the controls. The edges and sides demonstrate chipping and indentation, most notable on the bass side shoulder, treble side lower bout and bottom edge to the rear. These chips reveal the wood beneath. The rear of the face demonstrates moderate buckle rash across the entire face which does not pierce the finish but does cause slight hazing of the finish under direct lighting.
