Made in the USA in 2011, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with AA Carved Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Baked Maple fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with a Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece. A set of Kluson deluxe tuning machines are featured along with a Gibson 500T humbucker in the bridge and a Gibson 496R in the neck position, these are wired to the standard Les Paul control layout. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 60’s SlimTaper profile filling the hand without being overly thick, this offers a balanced and smooth playing experience. The Medium Jumbo frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction. The Gibson pickups in this guitar offer a full, thick tone, plenty of warmth and roundness is present in the neck position. The middle position sounds punchy, with driving mids along with crisp and clear highs making for a nice blend of the two pickups. The bridge position provides open sustain and broad harmonic clarity, making chords sound crystalline and clear. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, a moderate indentation cracking the finish slightly is apparent between the bridge and the controls. The rear bass side edge of the lower bout presents similar delamination to the top of the headstock. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The rear demonstrates light buckle rash. The rear demonstrates some light indentations which have chipped the finish. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability.
