Made in the USA in 2018, this neck-thru guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a AAA+ Flamed Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an Aluminium Tune-O-Matic bridge, an Aluminium Stop Bar, Grover locking tuners, Chrome hardware, a Gibson Rhythm Pro humbucker in the neck, and a Gibson Lead Pro+ Humbucker in the bridge. These pickups are wired to two volumes (push​/​pull), two tones (push​/​pull), and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Asymmetrical SlimTaper profile feeling fantastic in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The 1.745" nut width retains the regular Les Paul string spacing, meaning that there is more room on either side of the fretboard to prevent 'falling off' the board during vibrato or string bending techniques. The sculpted neck heel affords the player unrestricted access to the upper register, which is a real novelty on a Les Paul. Amplified, the pair of Gibson Pro humbuckers provide a fantastically thick and full tone right out of the gate. The Rhythm Pro Humbucker in the neck is warm and round, with huge solo tones and smooth, buttery distortion on offer. The Lead Pro+ Humbucker in the bridge position offers full-bodied yet cutting rock rhythm tones that will catapult you to the front of any mix with ease. The myriad of push​/​pull and DIP switch controls in this guitar ensure unrivalled versatility. Coil splitting is just the start of this, with phase reverse, treble bleed and coil selection options, as well as coil tapping controls and transient suppression for recording. Neck: Overall excellent condition. There is a scratch on the rear of the neck behind the nut, running widthways. This can be felt underhand but not in a playing position. Body: Overall excellent condition. Light lacquer checking running along the grain can be seen on the top of the guitar, as is common with nitro finishes. The seams for both the 2 piece body and neck joint can be seen and felt underhand, as is common with guitars with a thin nitro finish. Similarly the seam between the top and sides of the guitar can be felt underhand, with some additional light cracks stemming from this particularly on the bass side.. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of wear, with substantial material remaining for any future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
