Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus electric guitar in Iced Tea Burst finish. Made in the USA in 2012, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with AA Figured Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a T-O-M bridge & StopBar tailpiece and a set of Kluson Deluxe tuning machines. A pair of Gibson humbucking pickups are installed, with a '57 Classic in the neck and '57 Classic Plus in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, and independent volume & tone controls. The Mahogany neck plays beautifully, with a 50’s rounded profile which might be described, which offers comfortable playability and easy reach across the register. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 24.75" scale length, whilst the single cutaway body design ensures easy access to the upper frets. The Rosewood of the fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its traditional 12" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The traditional width and neck heel affords the player unrestricted access to the upper register, whilst the single cutaway provides excellent reach right up to the 22nd fret allowing the user to make the most out of this classic instrument. The pair of Gibson humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, exemplifying the rock and blues tones that the Les Paul has long been renowned for. The neck position is warm and round, with plenty of power for pushing your lead lines and solos to the front of the mix. The '57 Classic Plus in the bridge is of course brighter, perfect for rock rhythm parts and riffing because it can handle a serious amount of gain. There is all of the snarl and bite that we associate with rockin' Les Paul tones, yet at the same time definition and clarity is retained. The pickups clean up nicely too, with shimmering clean sounds ready for the softer sections of the set. The traditional Les Paul controls are as versatile as ever, offering comprehensive control of your sound right on the guitar. Our ID: 1230525102061 Weight: 9.55lbs Serial: 110920643 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Very light delamination is present to the treble side tip of the front face, this has not broken through the finish. Neck: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to the rear of the neck at the heel, these can not be felt in the playing position. Glue residue is present to the end of the fingerboard, this is from factory and does not affect the guitar. Body: Overall very good condition. Light residue is present around the control knobs and the toggle switch from where something has been previously sprayed, these can only be seen under direct light at close scrutiny. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is most apparent to treble side lower bout edge. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5​/​16" socket) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the pickup covers most noticeably to the neck pickup. All other aspects display light signs of past use. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.
