Made in Canada in 2012, this set-neck guitar consists of a Chambered Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Graphtech Resomax NW1 wraparound combination bridge​/​tailpiece, Chrome hardware, Godin Sealed tuners, and a set of Godin Nitro humbucker pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a profile resembling a slim ‘C’ and the Satin finish to the rear providing comfortable navigation and ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The 12" radius Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface, whilst also helping with bending and vibrato technique thanks to the Jumbo frets and offer a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for quick lead lines. The smooth lines of the body feel great in both seated and standing positions, allowing the musician to indulge in playing this beautifully constructed instrument for extended periods of time. The Godin NHN1 humbucker in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The middle position provides a punchy, tight midrange great for chordal styles of playing whilst being able to cut through a mix. The Godin NHB1 humbucker in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. Our ID: 1260825129053 Weight: 7.8lbs Serial: 12115208 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, light indentation and some scuffing is apparent to the top edge. Some of these markings pierce the finish slightly. The front face demonstrates very light scratching visible under direct lighting at certain angles. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates a light indentation behind the 9th fret which is difficult to discern beneath the thumb. The fingerboard demonstrates very light scratching throughout the register. This cannot be felt under the string and is only visible upon close inspection. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light scratching and indentation particularly by the controls. This is visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The edges and sides demonstrate light to moderate indentation most notable to the bass side shoulder and surrounding the jack plate. The rear demonstrates consistent light scratching, most concentrated in the center of the face and towards the bottom edge. Condition of Frets: The frets have been levelled and re-crowned to ensure improved playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
