Here for sale we have a Greco HR60S Hollow Body Electric Guitar in Sunburst finish. Made in Japan in 1977, this guitar consists of a White Sycamore top, White Sycamore back and sides, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Greco tuners, a floating tailpiece, a Rosewood adjustable bridge, and a humbucking pickup. This pickup is wired to a master volume, mid control, and treble control. The Maple neck plays very well, with the neck feeling rather wide in the hand thanks to the nut width of 1.71". This offers easy reach across the register for tricky chord voicings and jazzy lead lines. The profile to the rear of the neck might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape, well suited to a wide range of playing styles and techniques. The generous Florentine cutaway improves access to the upper register, really opening up the full range of the instrument. The hollow body construction of the instrument provides a nicely open and airy tone which is dynamically responsive to the player's touch. The single humbucking pickup captures this well, delivering a thick, round tone which is well suited to smooth and dark jazz lead lines. The on-board controls for master volume, bass range and treble roll off assist with dialling the perfect sound for any situation as well as managing feedback. Our ID: 1160725117711 Weight: 7.1lbs Serial: K776100 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall good condition, the front face demonstrates chipping of the finish surrounding the G machine head, which reveals the wood beneath. Light scratching and indentation is also apparent, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The top edges and corners demonstrate consistent scuffing, indentation and chipping of the finish revealing the wood beneath. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching and indentation throughout the register which can only be very slightly felt under the thumb. The fingerboard demonstrates very light markings difficult to discern against the natural grain. The joint between the heel and the body demonstrates finish cracking, along with the heel cap. This does not affect the structural stability of the instrument and there is no flexing in the joint. Body: Overall very good condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate light to moderate indentation and scratching, some of these markings piercing the finish. On the front face, the most notable of these are surrounding the controls, and do not pierce the finish. On the sides, it is most apparent to the treble side, where several indentations particularly around the jack socket, piece the finish. On the rear face, scratching is most notable to the center of the face consistent with buckle rash. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with light indentation and flattening of the crowns throughout. This affects playability slightly in some spots, but amplified sounds clear. There is a small amount of material for fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included. Hardware: All hardware demonstrates notable signs of use, remaining fully functional. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Strings on Guitar - 10-46 This guitar demonstrates some mild fret noise in the early register. This can be improved by raising the action, and is typical of a well played instrument of this age.
