Made in Japan in 2007, this icon of the guitar world consists of a laminated Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include an Ebony-Based Space Control Roller Bridge, Grover Imperial Die-Cast Tuners, a Bigsby B6G Vibrato Tailpiece, Neo Classic "Thumbnail" Inlays, and a pair of High Sensitive Filter'Tron humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, neck volume, bridge volume, 3-way pickup selector, 3-way tone switch, and a standby switch. The Maple neck sits comfortably in hand, with the 'C' profile filling the hand and feeling quick, providing a comfortable and ergonomic playing surface, as well as comfortable thumb positioning in any register. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck provides effortless navigation up and down the neck, whilst the 12" radius Ebony fingerboard provides a nicely flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. The double cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction. The High Sensitive Filter’Tron pickups have a rich, open tone, with a warm low end, a tight and creamy midrange, along with an airy, articulate top end, providing loads of clarity across a wide range of tonal settings. A mild indentation is present to the treble side tip of the headstock, this has caused a slight chip to the finish. A light indentation is present to the treble side edge of the headstock near the high E tuning machines, this does not expose the wood beneath. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the rear of the neck behind the 3rd fret, these can be felt in the playing position. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Mild scratching is present to the front face below the Bigsby tailpiece, these have exposed the wood beneath. Very light scratching can be seen to all aspects of the body which can only be seen under direct light. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting of the frets is apparent to the early register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
