Made in Japan in 2009, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Laminated Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include a Space Control bridge, Grover Imperial Die-Cast tuners, a Bigsby B6G Tailpiece, and a set of TV Jones Filter'Tron Classic pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, neck volume, bridge volume, 3-way pickup selector, 3-way tone switch, and a standby switch. The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Standard ‘U’ profile filling the hand without being overly thick, this offers a balanced and smooth playing experience. The frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction. The TV Jones Filter'Tron Classic pickups have a rich, open tone, with a warm low end, a tight and creamy midrange, along with an airy, articulate top end, providing loads of clarity across a wide range of tonal settings. The individual pickup volume knobs and 3-way tone switch help to inspire the exploration of different tones and sounds that can be made with the guitar.
