Here for sale we have an Ibanez GRGA120 electric guitar in Black Night finish. Made in China in 2023, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Poplar body, Maple neck and 24 fret Purpleheart fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including an Ibanez T102 2-point tremolo bridge and Ibanez sealed tuning machines. A pair of Ibanez Infinity R passive humbucking are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. The Maple neck plays very well, with the GRGA profile filling the hand nicely for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Slightly more substantial than Ibanez 'Wizard' necks, there is enough girth to sustain a firm grip when chord playing, whilst remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Satin finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale, whilst the generous double-cutaway body design works in conjunction with Ibanez' 'All Access Neck Joint' to enhance access to the upper register. The pair of Ibanez Infinity R passive humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, well suited to a wide range of genres and playing styles. There is plenty of power in the neck position, easily pushing your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and can handle a serious amount of gain for a saturated rock rhythm tone. The 5-way switching splits the humbuckers into single-coils, allowing for crystal clean tones in the quieter sections of the set. Luthier Report Our ID: 103012569634 Weight: 6.45lbs Serial: GS230501372 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. The tip shows light indentation which does not pierce the finish. Light scratching to the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the rear of the neck which do not pierce the finish. This is most noticeable on the treble side in the early register where they can be felt under the fingers in the playing position. The satin finish to the rear of the neck has buffed to a light gloss appearance consistent with playwear. Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scuffing is present to the rear face treble side edge near the control cavity. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the treble side horn on the front face. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable.
