The connection was a bit slow, but it's nothing to worry about.

This guitar is a commission sale - if you have a high end guitar you are interested in selling, please contact us via our easy to find website - search: Sell Us Your Guitar. Here for sale we have a Ibanez MC924 electric bass in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Japan, this bass features a Ash body, 5-Piece Maple/Walnut neck and 24 fret Ebony fingerboard. This bass is fitted with a Gold Plated Accu-Cast B II fixed bridge and a set of Velve Tune B II tuning machines. The pickups featured are a Ibanez Super J5S in the bridge and a Ibanez Super P5S in the neck, these are wired to a master volume, master tone and a pickup balancer. The 5-Piece Maple/Walnut neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Musician’ profile feeling slim, allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The 9.5” radius Ebony fingerboard provides a comfortable playing surface, which allows for different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cutaway body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire 24 fret register. The pair of Ibanez pickups produces a modern voicing, thick low end is present which complements the driving mids and sparkling top end, helping put your playing front and centre in the mix. The simplistic nature of the control layout provides the player with an easy ‘plug in and go’ characteristic for ease of tonal sculpting, allowing the player to choose either a tonality for finger styles of playing or a slap tonality providing a wide variety of sounds for the player to dial in their ideal sound. Luthier Report Our ID: 129042596892 Weight: 10.25lbs Serial Number: C840969 Aesthetic Condition: Overall good condition, all aspects of the headstock demonstrate scratching, indentation and chipping of the finish. This is most notably to the top edge where several indentations chip the clear coat finish revealing the wood beneath. Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates a notable indentation behind the 11th fret which pierces the finish. This can be felt under the thumb but is not in line of typical playing position. Further light indentation is apparent throughout the register which can be slightly felt under the thumb in playing position. This does not affect the overall playability of the instrument. The fingerboard demonstrates very light scratching throughout, difficult to discern against the natural grain. Overall good condition, the front face demonstrates a notable indentation to the bass side horn which cracks the finish. Consistent light indentation and light scratching is apparent to all aspects of the body, causing a hazing of the finish in some places, particularly beside the pickups towards the treble side waist. Notable chipping of the finish is apparent throughout the perimeter of the body, most notably to the bass side lower bout edge and bass side horn where some clear coat has been applied to protect the wood beneath previously. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (7mm socket) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with moderate signs of wear. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Strings on Guitar - 45-100 Height of string from 12th Fret- Treble 2mm - Bass 2.5mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Electrics: The active EQ on this bass is non-functioning. When first engaged there is some signal and a lot of "hiss" typical of failing capacitors. This is followed by the signal slowly decreasing until no signal is apparent. The passive section of this bass is fully functioning. The price has been adjusted to reflect this. Case & Accessories: No case is provided with this guitar.
