Made in Japan in 2018, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, 5-piece Maple​/​Walnut neck and 24 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Black hardware including Edge double-locking tremolo system and Gotoh sealed tuning machines. A trio of Ibanez pickups are installed in an HSH configuration, with a V7 in the neck, S1 in the middle and V8 in the bridge. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch and master volume and tone controls. The 5-Piece Maple​/​Walnut neck plays exceptionally well, with the Super Wizard profile feeling nicely slender and articulate in the hand. A flattened area to the centre of the neck promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers and helps to facilitate fast, technical playing. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 16.9" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. This is paired with 24 Jumbo frets, ensuring a razor sharp playing experience in all registers. The sculpted neck heel and generous cutaways enhance access to the upper frets, opening up the full range of the instrument. The trio of Ibanez pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide array of sounds, with the best of humbucking and single-coil tones on offer. The neck pickup is bold and warm, providing all of the clarity needed for your solo tones whilst remaining bright enough for chording and articulate rhythm parts. The V8 in the bridge is hotter, delivering a full-bodied and saturated harmonic distortion for your lead tones when driving the amp. The S1 in the middle position has a high output for a single-coil, meaning that it blends well with the neck and bridge pickups. The 5-way blade switch provides split coil sounds, whilst the responsive volume and tone controls ensure you're always in full control of your tone. Light indentation is present to the tip of the headstock, with this very light paint transfer is present. All other aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use. Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. A mild indentation is present to the rear face bass side lower bout edge, this has exposed the wood beneath. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, the most noticeable of these can be seen to the rear face near the tremolo plate.
