Built in Indonesia in 2017, this bolt-on constructed guitar consists of a Curly Maple top over an Ash body, a bolt-on 11-piece Wenge​/​Bubinga​/​Maple​/​Purpleheart neck with a Wizard Premium profile, and a Curly Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, a Edge Zero II tremolo with ZPS3Fe stabilizer and Gotoh locking machine heads. A Dimarzio The Tone Zone is fitted in the bridge, whilst a DiMarzio True Velvet in the middle position and DiMarzio Air Norton in the neck. These are wired to a master volume and tone along with a 5-way selector switch. The Wizard Premium neck plays well, its satin finish allowing the hand to move effortlessly and the dual cutaway along with the contoured neck heel gives great access to the upper register, the 24 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets feel very solid, giving you plenty to work with. The Ebony fingerboard provides a smooth surface under the fingers, whilst the 15.75” radius and Jumbo frets assist with string bends and vibrato techniques, delivering a smooth, quick playing experience in any position. The trio of Dimarzio pickups installed in this guitar deliver an even and balanced tone. They accurately reproduce the clarity of the fundamental tone when using a distortion sound to deliver a clear pick attack. The bridge humbucker delivers a punchy tone, with plenty of brightness to bring your playing front and centre in the mix while the neck humbucker is warmer and more rounded. The middle single coil produces a clean, bright tone while also allowing the high strings to sound sweet above the 12th fret. The RG6PCMLTD is an excellent workhorse guitar for modern heavy music.
