Made in Indonesia in 2013, this bolt-on construction guitar consists of a Meranti body, a 5-piece Maple​/​Walnut neck, and a 24-fret Jatoba fingerboard. Other appointments include White Pearloid tuners, an F108 bridge, and a set of IBZ-8 humbucking pickups that are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. The 5-piece Maple​/​Walnut neck plays well, with the Wizard II-8 neck profile feeling slim and ergonomic in the hand, allowing for great thumb placement all across the neck, whilst the Rosewood fingerboard and jumbo frets provide a robust playing experience that feels rock solid under the fingers, whilst enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The 15.75" radius ensures that the playing experience is tailored to the needs of the player in all registers. Jumbo frets increase sustain whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques, providing an even and balanced feel across the strings, particularly in drop tunings. The double cutaway body design provides unobstructed access to the upper register, making solo lines a breeze. The Ibanez RG8 comes equipped with a set of IBZ-8 Humbucker pickups. This pair of passive humbuckers provide a surprisingly diverse range of tones. Clean sounds are rich and warm in the neck position, whilst the 5-way switching offers a set of unique voices, with split coil sounds built in. As you would expect, these pickups can handle a serious amount of gain. Crushing tones in the bridge position remain tight and focussed, ensuring that your fast, low riffing retains definition. Our ID: 131082445846 Weight: 8lbs Serial: I130909078 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light marking is present to the tip of the headstock. The front face of the headstock displays light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the displays light discoloration most noticeably to the treble side of the neck behind the 22nd fret, this is common with regular use on satin finishes. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. Light chipping to the finish is present to the front face bass side edge, these have broken the finish exposing the wood beneath. Very light finish cracking is present to both sides of the neck pocket, this is not structural. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
