Made in the United Kingdom in 2024, this guitar consists of a Solid Aged Red Cedar top, Solid European Walnut back and sides, a Honduran Mahogany neck, and a 19-fret African Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Kluson open back 18:1 ratio tuners, a Bone nut and saddle, and a slotted headstock with a beautifully shaped volute for extended durability. JWJ Guitars is a small-batch acoustic guitar maker based in the countryside of Shropshire, UK, where luthier Rich Jones hand-builds each instrument with precision and care. Drawing inspiration from vintage, golden-era acoustics, JWJ focuses on tone, playability, and craftsmanship. The guitars feature premium tonewoods, torrefied bracing, satin nitro finishes, and custom neck profiles, all designed to deliver a pure and resonant sound. The Honduran Mahogany neck plays very well, with the 'D' profile working in conjunction with the gloss finish to the rear to provide a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The African Ebony fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and with it's 12" radius offers a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for fingerstyle and even slide techniques.
