Here for sale we have a Levinson Blade Texas Classic in Vintage White finish. This guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 21 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo and a set of sealed tuning machines. A trio of Squier Stratocaster single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle tone controls. The Satin Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promotes ergonomic hand positioning, feeling smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface. The 9.5" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience whilst retaining practicality for lead lines and string bending, further enhanced by the Medium frets. The smooth lines of the Stratocaster body along with generous body contours are as comfortable and familiar as ever, ensuring that long gigs and practice sessions are a breeze. The trio of VS-1 single-coils installed in this instrument deliver a classic single coil tone. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of spank, power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal sculpting. Neck: Overall very good condition, the fingerboard demonstrates light indentation and scratching throughout the register. This cannot be felt under the string in playing position. Body: Overall good condition, the front face demonstrates light indentation and scratching visible only under direct lighting. The edges and sides demonstrate moderate indentation, most notably to the bottom edge where moderate indentation consistently cracks the finish. The rear face demonstrates indentation to the rear of the bass side horn. Finish chipping is apparent to the treble side of the neck pocket revealing the wood beneath. Both corners of the neck pocket demonstrate notable finish cracking that does not go into the wood and does not affect the structural stability of the instrument. Condition of Frets: It is apparent that a level and re-crown has been performed recently to an acceptable standard. Very light scratching is apparent to the frets throughout the register which cannot be felt under the string. There is a small amount of fret material remaining for future work.
