Made in 2013 in Australia, this quality instrument consists of a "AAA" Select" Grade Solid Sitka Spruce top, Solid Queensland Maple back and sides, a Solid Queensland Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Bone nut and saddle, a Rosewood bridge, and an APMic Preamp and pickup system with a soundhole microphone. The pickup and microphone have controls for volume, bass, treble, mid, and mic level. Built in conjunction with the man himself, Tommy Emmanuel, this guitar was designed to meet all of the needs of a solo Acoustic Guitar player. Due to Maton's superior craftsmanship and knowledge, they have created a guitar with superb tone, and masterful dynamics, as well as the strength to endure international travel night after night. The 'C' profile Select Queensland Maple neck feels good in the hands and is paired with a beautiful Rosewood fingerboard making it really easy to move up and down the neck. The “AA Select” grade solid Sitka Spruce top adds a real brightness to the warmth of the Solid Queensland Maple back and sides, giving the guitar a really full and punchy sound with lots of clarity. Single notes really cut through the mix and chords feel tight and well-balanced. The EBG808TE is fitted with a Maton APMic pickup system that features volume, bass, treble, mid and mic level control. The pickup and microphone do a great job of amplifying the guitar, and the microphone in particular does an incredible job of capturing the guitar’s natural sound. The controls allow you to tailor your guitar’s amplified tone to suit you and allows you to dial in the right tone to cut through the mix in a live or studio performance. Our ID: 1150725117370 Weight: 4.5lbs Serial: 8505 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Moderate chipping of the lacquer finish is present to the D and G tuning machines, this has exposed the wood beneath and should not worsen. Light indentations are present to both the treble side top edge and the bass side rear face near the low E tuning machine, these have very lightly pierced the finish. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present across the register to the rear of the neck, one of these has pierced the finish lightly exposing the wood, Very light scratching can be seen under close scrutiny under direct light across the rear of the neck, these can not be felt in the playing position. The black coloring for the inlay letters at the 12th fret have worn away due to regular past use. Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light indentations none of which break though the finish, the most noticeable of these can be seen to the treble side lower bout edge and the the rear face treble side shoulder. The Satin finish has lightly polished to an almost gloss appearance in high contact areas, these can be seen on the front face bass side lower bout, treble side edge, bass side lower bout edge and the rear face bass side. Chipping of the finish can be seen to the rear face treble side lower bout, this has lightly exposed the wood beneath, as is common with regular past use. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent from the 1st fret to the 12th. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (8mm socket) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. The treble side of the bridge has been polished to an almost gloss finish, this is common with regular past use. Very light scratching can be seen to the scratch plate, these can only be seen under direct light. Light tarnishing can be seen to the tuning button. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1mm - Bass 1.5mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 11-52 There is no room remaining in the saddle for future adjustments. Electrics: Fully functional. Case & Accessories Maton hard case. Overall good condition and fully functional. The exterior of the case displays mild scratching and tearing of the tolex, some of these have lightly exposed the wood.
