Made in Nashville USA in 2022, this guitar features a bolt-on neck construction comprising a Tempered Pine body, Tempered Maple neck and 22 Medium fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Reliced Nickel hardware including a compensated wrap-around bridge and a set of Kluson Supreme tuning machines. A solitaryLindy Fralin Dogear P90 pickup is installed with simplistic controls for volume and tone. Novo Guitars is the mastermind of Dennis Fano famously from Fano Guitars. The Tempered Maple neck plays effortlessly, with the Chunky ‘C’ profile filling the hand generously without inhibiting any playing technique whilst promoting ergonomic thumb positioning for comfortable fretting and easy reach, this is accentuated by the Satin finish to the rear of the neck, making for very easy navigation of the 24.75" scale. The 9.5-14” fingerboard radius feels nicely balanced, offering comfort for chord playing and practicality for string bending and lead lines, whilst the Rosewood surface is pleasant under the fingers. Lindy Fralin are one of the premier makers of custom wound guitar pickups. Lindy's P90's are some of the best out there and his understanding of what makes a great P90 shines through. Gibson's old classic P90 single coil pickup is famous for that big midrange when used clean and chainsaw grind when cranked up all the way. The Fralin bridge position 8% overwound P90 turns it up a notch or two with significantly hotter than stock vintage output. There is plenty of low end growl, whilst the brightness from being in the bridge position helps you to cut through the mix with ease. A no-nonsense guitar with a surprising amount of versatility for a single pickup.
