Made in Korea in 2015, this set-neck construction guitar consists of a solid Spruce top, Dao back and sides, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Birds in Flight inlays, Diecast Chrome sealed PRS tuners, and PRS Undersaddle Piezo Pickup that is wired to soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Wide Fat’ profile offering ergonomic thumb positioning and easy fretting up and down the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch and with its 12” radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface that makes bending and vibrato techniques a breeze, whilst also catering for both bold chordal work and subtle fingerstyle playing. The thinner body shape fills the arms nicely, providing a lively and responsive playing experience with a sound that can really be felt, whilst the cutaway offers unobstructed access to the higher register. The voice of the PRS A15AL-Alex Lifeson Thinline is clear and direct, with a warm rounded low end, tight mids and a crisp articulate top end, all without sounding overly bright. This guitar features a PRS Hybrid “X” Classical Bracing design which results in more flexibility for the top to resonate, delivering more volume and a more defined, full tone. The PRS Undersaddle Piezo Pickup captures the natural voice of the instrument perfectly, whilst offering hassle free tone adjustments with the soundhole mounted controls. Our ID: 129042596783 Weight: 4.8lbs Serial: E00544 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use. The front face displays very light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. The letters ‘elus’ are missing from the decal on the front face of the headstock. Neck: Overall very good condition. An indentation is present to the bass side rear of the neck behind the 7th fret, this has pierced the finish and can be felt in the playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall excellent condition. A light indentation can be seen to the rear face bass side lower bout, this has slightly pierced the finish. All aspects of the body display very light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
