Here for sale we have a PRS SE Nick Catanese electric guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Korea in 2010, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a TonePros adjustable stoptail bridge and sealed tuning machines. A Pair of EMG humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone control. The Mahogany neck features the ‘Wide Fat’ profile with gloss finish topped with Rosewood fingerboard. The lower horn gives access to the upper frets. The Rosewood fingerboard features a 10" radius and is practical for both chordal and melodic playing. The jumbo frets make fretting and string bending easier. The pair of EMG humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver metal tones that can be cleaned up to suit a wide range of playing styles and genres. The neck pickup is warm while the bridge pickup is of course brighter and hotter, saturating into distortion when driving the amp; perfect for those rock riffs and rhythm parts. Our ID: 1260525102900 Weight: 8.55lbs Serial: K03149 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock display light to mild scratching which can only be seen under direct light as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most noticeable to the front face. Neck: Overall good condition. A previous owner has installed mother of pearl dot inlays to the fingerboard, with this the inlays are not flush with the fingerboard and slight gaps are present between the inlay and fingerboard, these can not be felt in the playing position. The rear of the neck displays light to mild indentations across the register, these can be felt in the playing position. Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching and indentations are present to all aspects of the body, the most noticeable indentations can be seen to both the lower bout bass side edge and bass side rear face, these have lightly pierced the lacquer finish. The most noticeable scratching can be seen to the center of the rear face and the treble side of the front face, these are consistent with regular use in high contact areas. Condition of Frets: The frets display light sign of use, with moderate material remaining for any work which may be required in the future. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod (7mm Socket) not included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. The bridge adjustment screws display mild indentations from where a previous owner has use a tool to adjust. Mild oxidation is present to the bridge pickup ring screws. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.
