Made in Indonesia in 2020, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple veneer, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Wraparound bridge, vintage-style tuners, and a pair of PRS SE 245 Humbuckers that are wired to independent volume controls, independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck is carved into a ‘Wide Fat’ profile, and along with the gloss finish found at the back provides a smooth and comfortable playing experience, with plenty to hold on to without being cumbersome. The tapered cutaway enhances access to the upper register as is customary for PRS guitars. The PRS SE 245 Humbuckers installed in this guitar deliver a retro tone, with a vintage warmth and clarity provided by each pickup. The clarity and unique tones of these vintage-inspired pickups are both big and nuanced, so that you can easily find your tonal sweet spot.
