Restored Roost 100 Watt Classic, British Amplifier Head

Rescued from long term storage this classic Brit amplifier has been sympathetically restored to retain its natural look and patina. All valves replaced and bias set to the correct level. Filter capacitors replaced and other components where required. All pots and valve bases cleaned. This is a rare example of a British amplifier made in Southend-on-Sea by the Roost company founded by Brian Roost in 1972. Under Brian’s leadership these amplifiers were produced in 50watt, 100watt and 150watt versions until the company was sold to FAL who moved production up to Leeds until the company was closed in 1984. This item is the 100 watt version. This Amplifier is built like a tank, has an exceptional clean tone with tons of headroom before cranking it past 6 when it breaks into the classic driven sound you can only get from a British amplifier of the time. I would put this amp up against any Marshall or Vox and it would not disgrace itself in fact in would shine bright. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the few remaining Roost heads still in existence. Local pick-up preferred but can deliver within 30 miles of Great Yarmouth or meet part way See my other listings for more classic British made guitars, amps and equipment.
