Rickenbacker 370/12 Midnight Blue 2010 12-String Semi-Hollow
This guitar is a commission sale - if you have a high end guitar you are interested in selling, please contact us via our easy to find website - search: Sell Us Your Guitar. Here for sale we have a Rickenbacker 370/12 12-String Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Midnight Blue finish. Made in the USA in 2010, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Maple body, a Maple neck, and a 24-fret Gloss Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include the iconic 'R' tailpiece, Schaller machine heads, Triangle inlays, 6-saddle adjustable bridge, and a trio of Rickenbacker Hi-Gain single coil pickups. These pickups are wired to bass volume, bass tone, treble volume, treble tone, blend, a three-way toggle switch, along with a 'Rick-o-Sound' stereo output. The guitar is refreshing to play, its wide body giving something reassuring to hold onto while the double cutaway gives easy access to the entire fingerboard, even up to the 24th fret. The frets are quite small, and pair well with the 10" fingerboard radius for great feeling chordal work and practicality for lead lines and bends, whilst the Lacquered Rosewood fingerboard feels great under the fingers. The chunky neck shape is substantial in the hand without being cumbersome, with quicker playing feeling natural thanks to the smooth gloss finish to the rear. Unplugged, the 370/12 has a bright, clear and resonant sound thanks to its semi-hollow Maple construction. This can be clearly heard when amplified. The Hi-Gain single coil pickups provide all of the jangle that you would expect from a Rickenbacker, capturing all of the nuances of your playing and the full range of all 12 strings. They sound clear, with plenty of chime while still feeling full bodied, and handling a surprising amount of gain. The 370/12 responds well to overdrive, feeling quite lively, yet stable due to its centre block. The stereo output allows you to route your signal in a multitude of ways, perfect for creating unique soundscapes. This guitar would be great for someone looking for a classic reissue that offers a truly unique playing experience.
