Condition: Very good, especially considering the age of this classic synth. There are a couple of scuff marks on the front and a small blemish on one of the keys but these are minor and barely noticeable. The synth is in full working order. It comes with a non original PSU, no box or manual. First introduced in 1982, the Roland SH-101 was designed to be an entry level, portable synth. It offered a basic voice structure compared to some other synths of the time, but it’s characteristic voicing and easy to understand controls made it a hit with the new wave of synth bands from the early 80s. In later years, it was embraced by a new generation of house and techno artists. The solid and powerful low end of the synth together with it’s squelchy filter made a consistent feature on classic EDM tracks.
