Here for sale we have a Schecter California Classic in Bengal Fade finish. Made in Japan in 2022, this very attractive guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Chambered Swamp Ash body with Carved quilted Maple top, Flamed Maple neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. Gold hardware is fitted including a Schecter Nouveau 2-Point tremolo bridge and Schecter Nouveau Sealed Locking tuning machines. A trio of Schecter USA pickups are installed in an HSS configuration, with a Pasadena Plus Trem humbucker in the bridge and MonsterTone single-coils in the neck and middle positions. These are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls, with a push​/​pull coil split on the tone pot. The Flamed Maple neck plays fantastically well, with the Custom C profile filling the hand nicely for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Whilst certainly on the slimmer side, the profile avoids venturing into the realm of thin. This ensures speedy and precise lead lines and melodies are a breeze, whist retaining enough thickness to inspire a confident grip on rhythm playing and chordal work. The Ebony of the fingerboard is luxurious under the fingers, and in conjunction with the 14" radius and Jumbo Stainless Steel frets delivers a playing surface which is both smooth and durable in all fingerboard positions. Amplified, the trio of Schecter USA pickups installed in this guitar make use of an HSS configuration to deliver a comprehensive and versatile range of tones. There is a surprising amount of power and aggression to be found in the neck and middle positions, but as single-coils the pickups clean up nicely too, especially in the out of phase 2nd & 4th positions. The Pasadena Plus Trem humbucker in the bridge delivers thick, saturated tones that are sure to blast your rhythm playing and riffs to the front of the mix. The addition of the push​/​pull coil split provides further versatility, ensuring this guitar is ready for wherever the gig takes you. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition. Very light indentation to the front face is visible under direct light. These markings are between the treble side waist and the pickups, with the most notable being around 1cm in size. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (spoke wheel) included. Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear, most notably tarnishing of the bridge pickup cover and bridge plate. Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
