Here for sale we have a Schecter Hellraiser Avenger Left Handed Electric Guitar in Black Cherry finish. Made in Korea in 2007, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Quilted Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 24-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a TonePros TOM bridge, Grover tuners, and a set of EMG 81​/​85 Active Humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector. The neck plays very well, with a slim profile that encourages fast playing. The Ultra-Access neck joint allows for uninhibited access to the upper register, with large cutaways ensuring that even players with large hands are accommodated. The Extra Jumbo frets assist with string bends and vibrato, and paired with the string-through-body bridge provide fantastic sustain. The arched Quilted Maple top body contour means that this guitar is comfortable to play in both standing and seated positions. Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted middle range thanks to its Mahogany construction and active EMG pickups. The bridge pickup has plenty of brightness too, with all of the bite needed for heavy rock and metal riffing. The neck pickup offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, as well as shimmering clean sounds with subtler amp settings. Overall this feels like a precision instrument that is more versatile than its looks suggest. Our ID: 1060825123730 Weight: 6.7lbs Serial: 0715598 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the tip of the headstock, these have lightly pierced the lacquer finish but do not expose the wood beneath. All aspects of the headstock display light scratching, the most apparent of these can be seen to the front face. Neck: Overall very good condition. Lacquer chipping can be seen to the treble side of the 1st fret, this can be lightly felt in the playing position. Light scratching can be seen to the rear of the neck, these can only be seen under direct light and can not be flt in the playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall very good condition. A moderate chip to the finish can be seen to the rear face lower bout the bass side edge, this has exposed the wood beneath. All aspects of the body display light to mild indentations, the most apparent of these can be seen to the treble and lower side edges, some of these have broken the lacquer finish but to not expose the wood beneath. Light to mild scratching is also present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen on the front face of both sides of the pickups consistent with regular past use. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (4mm Hex) not included. Hardware: Overall good condition. Moderate tarnishing of the finish is present to the bridge, this is consistent with heavy past use in a high contact area. The screws for the pickup rings display moderate oxidation.
