Here for sale we have a Schecter J-4 Exotic electric bass in Faded Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2021, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising aSwamp Ash body with Zebra Wood top, Carbon Fiber reinforcedRoasted Maple neck and 22 fret Roasted Maple fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a Schecter High Mass Bass String Thru bridge and WSC KG400 tuning machines. A pair of EMG Metal Works pickups are installed, and are wired to controls for master volume, Blend and 2-Band EMG Active EQ. The Roasted Maple neck plays exceptionally well, with Schecter's Thin C profile offering comfortable playability and rapid manoeuvrability in all registers. Certainly, the profile is slim enough to accommodate fast lines and aggressive riffs, yet still provides a confidence-inspiring grip and plenty of character to the playing experience. The Roasted Maple of the fingerboard and X-Jumbo frets provide a smooth and highly durable playing surface, with a 16" radius is practical for a wide range of techniques. The EMG Metal Works LJ in the bridge and the SJ in the neck deliver classic Jazz bass characteristics, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The active 2 band EQ combined with the Blend control provide complete control over your tone. Our ID: 1040325834311 Weight: 9.8lbs Serial: IW21092700 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top of the front face and surrounding edges demonstrate consistent moderate indentation, piercing the finish. Further light indentation is apparent around the perimeter of the headstock. Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates light indentation throughout the register which can be slightly felt under the thumb in playing position. This does not affect the overall playability of the guitar. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates consistent light indentation between the bass side waist and the scratchplate which are only visible under direct lighting at certain angles. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. there is conisderable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
