Here for sale we have a Schecter SLS Elite-4 Electric Bass in Antique Fade Burst. Made in Korea in 2020, this bass consists of a Swamp Ash body with Sycamore top, a 7-Ply Maple​/​Walnut​/​Padauk neck, and a 24 Extra Jumbo fret Ebony fingerboard. Other appointments include Grover Bass 144 Series Tuners, Schecter Custom Bass bridge, a Thin C neck profile, and a set of Two Fishman Fluence Bass Soapbar pickups. These pickups are wired to volume controls with Push​/​Pull for single coils, 3-way voicing selector switch and active 2-band EQ. The neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Thin C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Gloss finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Ebony fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 16” radius and Extra jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience. Amplified, the Fishman Fluence Soapbar pickups provide a fantastic fundamental bass tone, with a deep rumbling low end that will fill out any mix. The mid range is warm and adds a distinct character to the tone, whilst the high end frequencies add a nice snappy fast attack. The individual volume controls allow you to blend the neck and bridge pickups in any combination, providing a versatile range of tones suitable for a multitude of musical settings. The 3 switchable voicings give you access to Classic, Funk and Modern tones. Schecter made sure you could cover every tone possibility by adding the Push​/​Pull pot for a clean single coil sound. Our ID: 123032587891 Weight: 8.55lbs Serial: W20102425 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates some chipping of the clear coat surrounding the machine heads, most notable to the E & G. The top edge demonstrates several light indentations, not piercing the finish. Neck: Overall excellent condition, a small indentation is apparent to the fingerboard at the 12th fret. It is difficult to discern any other markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates some chipping of the clear coat, most notably beside the bass side of the fingerboard extension. Light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles is apparent to all aspects of the body, most notably the front face lower bout. The edges demonstrate light indentation, most notably to the bass side edge of the lower bout and towards the bottom of the rear face, chipping the finish. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining in the frets for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional.
