Here for sale we have a Squier Standard Stratocaster in Red Burst finish. Made in Indonesia in 2016, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 21 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo and a set of sealed tuning machines. A trio of Squier Stratocaster single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and middle tone controls. The Satin Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promotes ergonomic hand positioning, feeling smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface. The 9.5" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience whilst retaining practicality for lead lines and string bending, further enhanced by the Medium frets. The smooth lines of the Stratocaster body along with generous body contours are as comfortable and familiar as ever, ensuring that long gigs and practice sessions are a breeze. The trio of Squier Stratocaster single-coils installed in this instrument deliver classic Stratocaster tone. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of spank, power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal sculpting. Very light indentations are present to the edges of the headstock, these can only be seen under close scrutiny. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard and rear of the neck display light discoloration, this is common with regular past use on a satin maple fingerboard and neck. Any other markings are difficult to discern. Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included. Hardware: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use. Tremolo arm is included. Fender strap locks have been attached by a previous owner, the original strap button are not included. Structural: No concerns or issues to note. Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height. Strings on Guitar - 10-46 This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise to the low E string which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this. Electrics: Fully functional.
