Crafted in Japan in 2015, this guitar features an all-solid construction comprising Solid Hawaiian Koa back and sides, Solid Cedar top, 6-ply binding, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. This guitar is fitted with Gold sealed Takamine Gotoh tuning machines, along with a Bone saddle and nut. A Takamine CTP-3 Cooltube system is featured with controls for a three band EQ with semi-parametric midrange, volume and an onboard chromatic tuner with an endpin output jack. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a ‘C' shape that encourages ergonomic thumb positioning and offers a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is comfortable under the fingers and adds a real sense of luxury to the instrument. The 12" fingerboard radius provides a fine balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for fingerpicking and lead lines. The OM body is comfortable in the arms providing comfort in both standing and seated positions. A small lacquer crack is present to the left side of the control panel. All faces of the body displays light scratching, these are only visible under direct light.
