Built in 2020 this guitar features a solid Sitka Spruce top, layered Rosewood back and sides, a 20 fret Mahogany neck, a West African Crelicam Ebony fingerboard and an Ebony bridge. Other features include a Venetian cutaway and an Expression System 2 (ES2) pickup​/​preamp system with controls for volume, treble and bass. The satin finish neck plays very well, offering a smooth and easy playing surface, its rounded profile feeling comfortable in the hand, easily suiting a wide range of players. The Venetian cutaway gives great access to the upper register and the Grand Auditorium body style feels full, without being overly large. The tone of the 214ce is rich and clear, with a warm low end, a punchy midrange, along with crisp and articulate highs. The ES2 pickup​/​preamp system really enhances the voice of the guitar, staying true to its character and giving good tonal control without overwhelming you with features, overall a great workhorse guitar, perfect for someone looking for a well built acoustic to take them through any playing situation. Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard. Body: Overall very good condition, consistent scratching and indentation is apparent to the bass side of the soundhole continuing to the bass side waist. It is difficult to discern any other markings to the body. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with indentation in the early register improving as you climb the neck.
