Here for sale we have a Tokai LS-GP​/​F BE Electric Guitar in Ocean Blue Burst finish. Made in Japan in 2018, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome hardware, a Tune-o-Matic style bridge, vintage-style Tulip tuners, and a set of PAF-Vintage MK2 humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to two independent volume controls, two independent tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a ‘C’ shape. This fills the hand nicely for a comfortable grip when chord playing, without being so big as to feel cumbersome. This allows for fast and articulate playing, with easy reach across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its traditional 14" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending and lead lines. The pair of PAF-Vintage MK2 humbuckers deliver thick, full-bodied tones just as you would expect from a guitar of this style. The neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of grunt for driving the amp into a saturated distortion- perfect for your solo sounds. The bridge pickup is of course hotter and brighter, easily cutting through the mix on your rock rhythm parts. The traditional twin-humbucker controls with independent volume and tone pots ensure that you remain in full control of your sound at all times, allowing you to sculpt your perfect sound right on the guitar. Our ID: 128012574700 Weight: 9.1lbs Serial: 1839465 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face of the headstock demonstrates light signs of wear and a fadin b g of the finish. The top edge of the headstock displays some very small chips, none of which expose the wood beneath aside from a small chip on the bass side corner. Neck: Overall excellent condition. There are some extremely light indentations which cannot be felt underhand, as is common with a satin finish. Body: Overall very good condition. All faces of the body demonstrate light scratches and indentations, as is common with a satin finish. The front face demonstrates a small indentation just above the bridge post on the bass side. There are two small chips on the rear face which expose the wood beneath, one towards the centre of the body and one on the bottom edge. There is a scratch on the bass side edge which has slightly broken the finish exposing the wood beneath. The neck pickup ring has cracked at the bottom. Condition of Frets: The frets display a mild flattening of the crown, not affecting playability. There is substantial material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (8mm Wrench) not included. Hardware: Fully functional with light oxidation to the metal hardware.
