Here for sale we have a Tokai Love Rock UALS55QZ electric guitar in Tobacco Sunburst finish. Made in China in 2016, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Quilted Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a T-O-M style bridge and StopBar tailpiece along with vintage-style tuning machines with 'Tulip' buttons. A pair of Iron Gear Rolling Mill humbucking pickups have been installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls. The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that might be described as a 50’s 'C' shape. This fills the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, without being so big as to feel cumbersome. This allows for fast and articulate playing, with easy reach across the register. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its traditional 12" radius strikes a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending and lead lines. The traditional control layout keeps everything within easy reach without intruding on the playing experience. The pair of IronGear Classics Blues Engine humbucker deliver thick, full-bodied tones just as you would expect from a guitar of this style. The neck pickup is warm and round, with plenty of grunt for driving the amp into a saturated distortion- perfect for your solo sounds. The bridge pickup is of course hotter and brighter, easily cutting through the mix on your rock rhythm parts. The traditional twin-humbucker controls with independent volume and tone pots ensure that you remain in full control of your sound at all times, allowing you to sculpt your perfect sound right on the guitar. The treble side front edge shows a very small chip which lightly exposes the wood between the B & G tuners. Light to mild scratching of the front face is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Neck: Overall excellent condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light lateral scratching throughout the register consistent with tooling marks from the manufacturing process. This is most notable at the fingerboard extension beyond the 22nd fret, bass side. Light scratching to the rear of the neck is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. Body: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. The rear of the body displays finish imperfections which are perhaps reminiscent of scuff marks, however there is no difference to the feel of the finish where they are apparent. They are only visible under certain light. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate minimal signs of use, not affecting playability.
