Here for sale we have a Vigier G.V. Rock Electric Guitar in Matte Black finish. Made in France in 2017, this bolt-on constructed guitar consists of a naturally aged Alder body, a Maple neck featuring the 10​/​90 system, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Schaller custom locking tuners, a Vigier design bridge, a Teflon nut, and a zero fret. The pickups that have been installed are aAmber Hand-wound humbucker in the neck, and an aftermarket Bare Knuckle War Pig Humbucker in the bridge, that are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a 5-way pickup selector. The Maple used for the neck has been dried for 3 years to help improve stability, hardness, and bright tonal qualities. Vigier has also employed the use of the '10​/​90 system' for the neck which means that the neck is made up of 90% wood and 10% carbon, instead of using a truss rod. The Matte finish neck plays very well, with the ‘D’-profile sitting comfortably in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 1.81” radius offers a perfect balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. The Amber hand-wound humbucker and Bare Knuckle War Pig pickups installed in this guitar are clear, articulate and bold sounding. These high output humbuckers deliver a refined, resonant and cultured tone that will sit well within a wide range of genres and musical situations. Wired to a 5-way pickup selector, there are a vast array of tones close to hand. Split coil sounds are available in the in-between positions (2 and 4) and your usual humbucking options in positions 1, 3 and 5. Our ID: 1120625107890 Weight: 8.55lbs Serial: 0413 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Moderate chipping and indentations are present to the top of the headstock, these have broken through the finish exposing the wood beneath. All other aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use. Neck: Overall very good condition. Delamination is present to the center of the rear of the neck, these can not be felt in the playing position. All other aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. A mild chip to the finish is present to the rear face lower bout edge, this has exposed the wood beneath. A patch of the matte finish has lightly polished to an almost gloss appearance, this can be seen to the treble side of the front face, this is common with regular use on matte finishes. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under close scrutiny. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability.
