Here for sale we have a Wilson Guitars Ventures VMB-75 Electric Bass in Pearl White finish. Made in Korea, this bolt-on constructed bass consists of a carved Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an SDB-1 tailpiece, chrome hardware, and a set of FB-1 Single Coil pickups that are wired to two volume controls, and a tone control. The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a reassuring grip, whilst remaining slim enough for articulate playing. The Gloss finish to the rear is pleasant under the thumb and assists with smooth navigation of the 34" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and durable playing surface. The frets enhance the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid sensation under the fingers. The FB-1 Single Coil pickups installed deliver a great fundamental bass tone as soon as you plug the instrument in. The low end is thick and full-bodied, ensuring that your bass playing fills out the mix nicely. The mids are punchy and clear, whilst the sparkly top end captures all the spank and attack of your playing, keeping you in the front of the mix. Our ID: 107012570170 Weight: 9.8lbs Serial: 010406 Aesthetic Condition: Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the top edge of the headstock, some of these have pierced the finish most noticeably to the front face treble side edge. Light glue residue likely from a sticker is present to the top of the front face treble side edge, this can only be seen under close scrutiny. Neck: Overall very good condition. Light black marks can be seen to the rear of the neck treble side, these are present behind the 7th and 9th frets. Indentations can be seen to the rear of the neck at the bass, these can be felt under the fingers. The fingerboard displays light signs of past use. Body: Overall very good condition. All faces of the body display chipping of the finish which have exposed the wood beneath, the most noticeable of these can to the front face bass side lower bout and to the rear face treble side horn. A lacquer crack is present to the rear face by the neck screws, this has been tested and presents no structural concerns. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform. This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is mildly apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this. Current Set Up: Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) included. Hardware: Overall very good condition. One of the control knobs has been replaced with an aftermarket knob. All aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use, most noticeable the scratch plate which displays light scratching which can be viewed under direct light, this is common with regular past use in a high contact area.
