Yamaha FJX730SC Gloss Natural Electro Acoustic Guitar Here for sale we have a Yamaha FJX730SC Electro Acoustic guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in China, the FJ series was made to combine the specs of the FG range with exclusive mini-jumbo body style and featured a Solid Sitka Spruce top with Rosewood back and sides, Mahogany neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard with matching bridge. The body is double bound, whilst the top is adorned with multi-strip purfling and Abalone rosette, as well as a tortoiseshell pickguard. This guitar features Yamaha’s A.R.T (Acoustic Resonance Transducer), this is wired to shoulder mounted frequency and volume controls. The Gloss finished Mahogany neck plays well, with its ‘C’ profile providing a comfortable playing experience, offering ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard feels smooth under the fingers, providing a smooth, consistent playing surface. The 16” radius is practical for a wide range of styles and playing techniques such as fingerstyle and chordal playing. The Jumbo body design fills the arms, offering a ‘connected’ feeling, whilst the lines of the body provide comfort in both seated and standing positions. The voice of the Yamaha FJX730SC is warm and rich, with plenty of projection thanks to the large body and Spruce top. The Rosewood back and sides add sweet low end and mid-range, whilst the Spruce top takes care of the bright treble frequencies beautifully well. There is plenty of dynamic range to be found in this guitar, with anything from very soft articulate passages to loud strumming sections retaining clarity and feeling sensitive. Moderate indentations which have pierced the finish can be seen to all faces of the headstock, the most prominent of these can be seen to the rear face top edge. Light to mild scratching is present to the front face which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes Neck: Overall good condition. Moderate indentations which have pierced the finish can be seen to the rear of the neck, these can be felt under the thumb in the playing position. Light to mild scratching is present to the rear of the neck which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes. Light indentations are present to the fingerboard which can be seen across the register, these can not be felt in the playing position. Body: Overall good condition. Light to mild indentations which have pierced the finish can be seen to all faces of the body, the most prominent of these can be seen to the front and rear faces. Light to moderate scratching is present to all faces of the body which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with high gloss finishes and regular past use, the is most prominent to the entirety of the rear face. Light glue residue is present to the treble side of the scratchplate. Condition of Frets: The frets show mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any light fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
