Yamaha Revstar Professional RSP20 Moonlight Blue Electric Gu

Here for sale we have a Yamaha Revstar Professional RSP20 in Moonlight Blue finish. Made in Japan, this guitar features a Chambered Mahogany body with a Maple top, 3-piece Mahogany set-in neck and a 22 Jumbo Stainless Steel Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece, as well as a set of sealed tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers which are wired to a 5-way blade selector, Master volume and a Master tone control with push/pull 'Focus’ switch. The 3-piece Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a ‘Medium’ profile that provides ergonomic and comfortable thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth transitions, making navigation of the 24.75" scale feel like a breeze. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 12" radius and Jumbo frets offer a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques, whilst the Revstar body style with dual cutaways provides excellent access to the upper frets. The pair of Yamaha humbuckers sound full and rich, with tight low response and a punchy mid range. They provide crystal clear highs and are wired fairly hot, offering a nice open tone with plenty of dynamic range and singing harmonics. The push/pull ‘Focus’ control activates a passive boost with an effect similar to that of overwound pickups, providing darker highs, increased mids and lows with an aggressive character. The master volume and tone controls are simple and intuitive, overall making for a great workhorse guitar.
