Here for sale we have a Yamaha Revstar RS502 Electric Guitar in Shop Black finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this set-neck constructed guitar consists of a Mahogany body with a Maple top, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Diecast Tuners, Vintage Cream binding, an Adjustable Wraparound bridge, and a set of YGM P90 pickups that are wired to a master volume, master tone with push​/​pull bass cut, and a three-way pickup selector. The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with a ‘Medium’ profile that provides ergonomic and comfortable thumb positioning up and down the neck. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck assists with smooth transitions, making navigation of the 24.75" scale feel like a breeze. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 13.75" radius and Jumbo frets offer a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques, whilst the Revstar body style with dual cutaways provides excellent access to the upper frets. The YGM P-90 pickups sound thick and raw, with a solid output that pushes the front end of an amp nicely. The lows are full and tight sound, the midrange is powerful, easily cutting through a mix, along with the biting high frequencies. The pickups are very dynamic sounding, more so than the slightly compressed nature of humbuckers, while offering more power than is usually associated with single coils.
