The guitar on sale is the very first generation of Fender Telecaster Plus and essentially the very first Fender Deluxe, where craftsmanship and innovation were the first priorities. The guitar is in good condition for it's age with just a few bruises and indents around the body and play wear on the neck finish. Very comfortable C-shape maple neck has a convenient modern 9.5 radius fretboard and medium jumbo frets, perfect for chords and easy bends. Truss-rod is adjusted at the headstock and the height of the neck heel can be adjusted with the MicroTilt system, making the perfect setup even more attainable. Beautiful 1-piece ash body comes in exclusive for the Plus Series Ebony Frost metallic finish. Acoustic resonance is further enhanced thanks to the bigger factory routing for the neck pickup. This Tele comes factory-equipped with the legendary Lace Sensor Blue neck pickup and Red Dually Bridge pickup. Lace Sensor are considered to be one of the best electric guitar pickups in the world since the end of 1980s. Telecaster Plus is one of a few Telecasters in Fender history to have these pickups from the factory. Very potent tone with a lot of versatily, stunning string to string separation and clarity. Bridge humbucker can be split into two separate single-coils via an additional 3-way toggle switch. And the difference in the sound is pretty substantial! So instead of the usual 3 Telecaster sounds you can now get 7: neck, neck+bridge humbucker, bridge humbucker, bridge single-coil (closest to bridge), bridge single-coil (closest to neck), neck + bridge single coil (closest to bridge), neck + bridge single-coil (closest to neck). Fender American Standard hardtail bridge allows for very precise intonation and great sustain thanks to those super solid steel saddles. Original wiring works really well and allows for further tone enhancements thanks to Fender TBX treble bass expander stacked tone pot. In the middle, at the detent, it is out of the circuit, allowing full power of the pickups to reach the output. Rolling it further down will reduce treble, just like on a normal tone pot. Rolling it from 5 to 10 will boost the treble and bass thanks to a A1000K pot being engaged. Brilliantly simple design - and no battery required! Fender moulded hardcase is structurally solid, although it had two latches replaced. Non-smelly black plush interior is in good shape for it's age. You even get a vintage Fender logo strap! This instrument received a full professional setup with deep body clean, neck deep clean and full electronics check. Restringed with D'addario 10-46 nickel-plated steel strings.
