The finishing is brilliant, great fretwork, a chunky 50s 'D' profile neck and some unique features that deviate from a traditional Goldtop specification. The blacked out back of the mahogany body, the black pickup surrounds and mismatched 50s​/​60s volume and tone knobs all contribute to giving this guitar a distinct look and plenty of vibe. It's loaded with a set of Gibson Burstbuckers 2 and 3 (neck and bridge, respectively) that make almost indistinguishable from the real deal in a blindfold test, Epiphone LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge for maximum stability, rosewood board and trapezoid MOP inlays and a long tenon that extends into the neck pocket, bringin vintage style, strength and sustain.
