Nickel​/​Chrome hardware is fitted, with a 4-Saddle HiMass vintage String-Thru body bridge and Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style Keys with Tapered Shafts tuning machines. A V-Mod II Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup is installed, and is wired to master volume and tone controls. The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's 1963 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip, whilst remaining slim enough for articulate playing. The “Super-Natural” Satin finish to the rear is pleasant under the thumb and assists with smooth navigation of the 34" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard with its 9.5" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and durable playing surface.
