Here for sale we have a Fender Vintera '60s Stratocaster Modified in Olympic White finish. Made in Mexico in 2019, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Nickel​/​Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 2-point tremolo bridge with vintage-style stamped steel saddles and a set of vintage-style split-post tuning machines. A trio of Fender Vintage-Style '60s Single-Coil Hot Strat pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck​/​middle tone and bridge tone controls, with an S-1 switch on the volume pot which adds the neck pickup in positions 1 & 2. The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender' popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Moderately-sized, the neck feels practical for both chordal and melodic playing styles and provides easy reach for those tricky chord voicings and big stretches. The Pau Ferro of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, providing the look of Rosewood whilst possessing a tighter grain for a durable playing surface which will surely stand the test of time. The smooth lines and generous cutaways of the Stratocaster body are as comfortable in the arms as ever whilst providing unrestricted access to the upper frets. The trio of Fender Vintage-Style '60s single-coil Hot Strat pickups do exactly what they say on the tin; deliver a vintage-inspired tone with a higher output. This works well for a wide range of genres and playing styles, with plenty of warmth and power from the neck pickup, perfect for lead and solo tones. The middle pickup produces a smooth but spanky and bright midrange response which is great for funky Strat sounds. The bridge is brighter still, and thanks to its high output can handle a serious amount of gain for a saturated rock rhythm tone. The addition of the S-1 switch adds two new sounds, allowing you to use all three pickups in positions 2, 3 & 4, whilst engaging the S-1 switch in positions 1 & 5 sends both the neck and bridge pickups to the output. A very light wear mark to the front face is present near the A tuner. Light scratching to all aspects of the headstock is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the front face. Neck: Overall excellent condition. The fingerboard shows light wear throughout the register. These markings are not felt under the fingers and therefore do not impact playability. Any other markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern. Body: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching to all aspects of the body is visible under direct light, as is common with high gloss finishes. This is most notable to the rear face near the tremolo cavity. Condition of Frets: The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
