Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman Burgundy Red Oil 2003 Electric B
Here for sale we have a left handed Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman electric bass in Burgundy Red Oil finish. Built in Germany in 2003, this bass features a Swamp Ash body, a AA Flamed Maple Top, a Ovangkol neck and a 24 Jumbo fret Wenge fingerboard. A MEC J/MM single coil and humbucker pair are featured on this guitar, which are wired to a passive 3-way pickup mini selector, bridge volume, bridge tone, neck volume and a neck tone. The Ovangkol neck sits comfortably in the hand, feeling chunky in profile and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the Satin finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Wenge fingerboard feels luxurious under the fingers, whilst the 20” radius and 1.530” nut width allows for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway and contoured body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience. The MEC pickups are warm and articulate, providing full, deep tones with subtle distorted frequencies. The re-wiring from an active circuit to a passive circuit cuts out the need for a battery and offers the player a simplistic control layout with independent volume and tone for each pickup, whilst a 3-way selector mini switch provides the user with a wide range of tones. A fantastically made instrument with an impressive range of sounds that demonstrates why Warwick has earned their reputation among the bass community.
